So if you want to install the latest version of the FileZilla which is the 3.4.0 in Ubuntu using PPA, then open your Terminal and issue the following command...

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/programs-ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install filezilla

Although the 3.4.0 version does not bring huge improvements, but things like bug fixes and few new language supports are added.
