"We've Had Enough", Says the Flock Developers, Closing in April 2011

I did give a try for Flock version "3" when it was still at beta stage, and to my surprise, even though their browser is based upon Chromium and Firefox (it was only Firefox when they started it), yet they didn't have the decency to give at least a reasonable support for GNU Linux.

No more, no more!...

Now, I don't know when the decision was made, in their web site, they've officially announced that from 26th April 2011, Flock browser project is automatically discontinued!. So if you've been a loyal fan of Flock, then this is certainly disappointing news for you. Below is a portion of their statement...

Support for Flock browsers will be discontinued as of April 26th, 2011. We would like to thank our loyal users around the world for their support, and we encourage the Flock community to migrate in the coming weeks to one of the recommended web browsers listed below...

Although Google Chrome itself is a great web browser, even with its speeds and sexy looks, still it doesn't impress me. It's too simple and Google treats users like 8-year-old-s with it's ridiculously simple GUI (like with Gnome), to which I find quite hard to cope with. If you're like me, then you should try the new Firefox4... it just rocks man!. I mean seriously, give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
