Install Snappy 0.1, A Fast and Simple Multimedia Player For Linux

Snappy is one of the latest multimedia players for Linux. It uses the Gstreamer framework (including clutter interface for building the GUI, which looks gorgeous) thus supports anything that is playable through Gstreamer.

As you can see from the below screenshot, it won't come with fancy menu nor advanced "options", etc but to be honest, even with that too much simplicity, still it does look sexy! ;-).

The developer just announced it, so there could be bugs. But still it is fast and takes very little memory, and seems like worth giving a try!. For more about installing and source code, please visit this developer's site. If you use Ubuntu, then you can install it via this Gstreamer PPA.
