Firefox 4.0 Beta 10 Is Released!

First of all if you've read my previous post about the 4.0 beta 9 release then I'm a bit embarrassed. You know I went on and said this could be the last beta version of the firefox 4 series (shi* ;-) ), anyway they've decided to release another beta version now which is the version 10. Now should you upgrade to this or not??

Well, according to the Mozilla foundation this release includes few bug fixes such as ...

*. Fixed some issues with the Adobe Flash player under Mac OS X.

*. Few enhancements concerning the memory (RAM) usages (well ... I don't know about you, but think I'm gonna upgrade :D ).

*. Graphic driver comp-ability fixes.

*. Few GMAIL slow loading bug fixes.

Now these are just the main ones since they have patched a long list of errors. Anyway, remember that, since still Firefox4 is in beta stage, if you're a Hulu.com fan (oooh no what is it now....), then they still not displaying content (not for this release but has been around for the whole Firefox "4" version.

How To Add The Auto URL Suggesting Feature To Firefox

In Google Chrome web browser whenever you type something in the URL section, the browser automatically retrieves suggestions from the search engines. Now this can be a both hassle and a helpful feature depending on the user.

For instance, when you type something and see a list of suggestions, sometimes you can "get lost" in the suggestions thus getting your attention to those URL suggestion and as a result even forgetting what you wanted to search in the first place (sounds familiar ;- ) ).

But on the other hand if the web browser does a better job at matching your suggestion, most of the time it really helps to improve your speed for searching that term. As said chrome has a built it default feature but Firefox does not!. But fear not friends there is an addon called Omnibar which adds that feature to your Firefox web browser.

It's useful!...
Even better, it by default get search suggestions from few different search engines!. Interested, OK then, if you want to install this addon then -> Click here for the Omnibar Firefox addon link.

Mozilla Firefox 4 Beta 9 is Out! (4.0b9) - Could Be the Last Beta Release

Mozilla foundation has released the latest beta version (9) of the Firefox4 web browser and according sources this may will be the last of the beta testing also. But this pretty much depends on the bugs (shiz! don't panic) that could be "discovered" in this new release. And hopefully if nothing major (bad one) discovers then the next release will the the actual Firefox4 long awaited release.

To be honest to this day I still use the Firefox browser and quite happy with it (the 3.6 + )version. But the new 4 version will bring a re polished interface + numerous other improvements such as better online HD playback support, enhanced 3D rendering engine, faster Java script and better looking fonts, speed up browser loading times and a bit compassionate on your system memory (well not everyone has 10 GB RAM errrrrrrr).

And unlike many other software releases you can use the firefox beta versions because this is an Open Source project and unlike closed sourced applications both bugs and fixes arrive pretty faster with these software dudes (gotcha Microsoft!).

So anyone who want to try it - Click here for the Firefox4 beta 9 download link.

*. Now be a bit compassionate about them and if you found errors then "try" to send them a feedback through the easy to use addon would ya!.

Live Page Rank Displaying Addon for Firefox

Well if you're interested in SEO stuff and like to spy on your competition, etc (which is not a good thing ;-) ) then tools like web page page rank displaying addons for Firefox or Chrome extensions are very important. Although you don't need them since you can manually copy and paste the "competitor's" URL and use online websites such as prchecker.info, etc but they SUCK! big time. I mean apart from that copy -->>past hassle you'll also have to fill out an anti spam texts as well.

Actual screenshot is below ...

So if you have an addon like I'm going to tell ya right now... then forget about all that hassle, whenever you go to a web site this firefox addon will (free btw came a bit late oh did you close already :( ) display live Google page rank of that URL. Wait not only that it will also gives you information such as Alexa and mozranks, cache date, robot txt, keyword density and highlighting, Archive.org files (wayback machine), etc. It is called search status.

So these are just a few to name guys and if you're serious about blogging and making some cache out of it then I urge you to take advantage of this page rank (live) addon for firefox. Thanks. ... Oh almost forgot look below for the downloading link.

How to add a Google Web Page Translator Extension for Firefox

Why I wanted this web page translator for my Firefox browser!

The other day folks I was browsing the web and not the first time though but came upon few sites (which I loved at the end) that were really good but since I'm a Firefox addict had bit of a hard time going back and forth, copying the URL manually and putting it on Google and then click on that "Translate this page" link, repeat over and over again. Finally after some time I was really angry and decided to find an extension or plugin (whatever we call them these days) for my web browser.

Interestingly I had the Chrome web browser (see "had" meaning not anymore!) and whenever I came to a site which is not rendered in English it would just simply pop out a menu bar asking me, if I want to translate it into English. So I thought hmm pretty cool Chrome, gonna find one for my Firefox as well - I thought. And then I came upon with few different ones actually but kinda settled down for an extension called the gTranslate.

What after adding this addon does is, every time you end up on those "make no sense" websites and just simply select the web URL right click and you'll be promoted with a website translating menu. There you can choose and translate the site to whatever language you like (ha gotchya Chrome......)!.

So, click here for the gTranslate firefox extension link and I think you know how to install it already, don't you??. Hope this helps everybody.
